The Hipjoint Golfer

Many people of all ages living throughout Scotland suffer from arthritis and a great number of active sportsmen and women succumb to this painful condition as the constant exertions of their physical lifestyles create wear and tear on the vital functioning joints of their skeletal anatomies.

Some, like myself, have been given a second chance to lead a more active 'pain free' lifestyle through the help of the advancements in orthopedic surgical techniques and are now able to regularly participate in a game of golf or other sports and physical hobbies within a healthy social environment.

There are probably many other 'hipjoint' and 'kneejoint' golfers playing golf at most of the 500 plus Golf Clubs around the country and it's almost certain that we all appreciate the 'extra mileage' that has been added to our eventful social and competitive golfing careers.

Many of these 'joined at the hip' golf enthusiasts and their 'senior' golfing contemporaries indeed form a large proportion of the 'active' weekday memberships at their respective Golf Clubs throughout Scotland.

As the game of golf has no boundaries regards age, physical ability or the level of challenge it provides there will always be scope for a healthy influx of people from all walks of life to keep taking it up... so no amount of  'over promotion' can do the sport any harm.

'Hipjoint Golf's' pages are a reciprocal 'Thank you'  to the  popular and rewarding game of Golf, for generating so much pleasure within the Scottish community and also for 'making a difference' to so many peoples lives......
